Light:
- Indoor / Bright Indirect Light
- Avoid Direct Sun
- Keep indoors our outdoors in a shaded spot
Water:
- Water when the potting medium is almost dry but not completely dry.
- Check the roots: silvery roots mean it’s time to water. Water thoroughly, letting excess drain out to avoid root rot.
- Typically, water every 7-10 days, depending on your environment's humidity and temperature.
- Avoid getting the leaves wet
Humidity
- Mini Phalaenopsis orchids thrive in 50-70% humidity. Increase humidity with a pebble tray filled with water or a humidifier if needed.
Fertilizing
- We recommend HB-101 when the plant is not currently blooming. Follow these guidelines:
- Frequency: Use once a week year-round
- Dilution: Add 1-2 drops of HB-101 to 1 liter of water for regular feeding. you can keep and store the unused mix for next feeding.
Blooming Cycle
- Mini Phalaenopsis orchids of this size and age typically bloom within 2-4 months if cared for properly.
General Tips
- Trim spent flower spikes to encourage new blooms.
- Avoid placing the orchid in drafty areas or near heat sources like radiators.
- Check for pests such as mealybugs or spider mites regularly.
