Rhipsalis is a genus of epiphytic foliage plant in the cactus family, typically known as mistletoe cacti. They are found in parts of Central America, the Caribbean and northern regions of South America.
This shrubby cactus grows long rod like foliage that will trail downwards and eventually flower in little white tufts. “Cereuscula” means small candles or small torch, referring to the shape of the flowering plant.
Every plant is unique and can therefore differ from the plant shown on the photo.
Care Tips
This plant refers medium to bright indirect light. While this plant is fairly drought tolerant, make sure to water the it when the soil starts to feel dry at the top.
Light: Outdoor Shaded / Bright Indirect Light / Direct Morning Sun
Water: Water until it drains at the bottom of the pot Once a week or when the top 1-2" soil is dry
Extra: Prone to overwatering
Remember to water your plants with intuition. If the leaves look droopy or shriveled, they probably need water. If they are dusty, give them a shower or wipe off their leaves.
