Care Tips
These tips should help keep your basil plant healthy and thriving:
Light:Use the included Sansi clip-on grow light — turn it on for at least 8 hours daily, during daytime.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
Pruning: Pinch off the top leaves regularly to encourage bushy growth and prevent flowering.
Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer regularly. The frequency of fertilizing varies on the type of fertilizer used. We recommend using HB-101 Plant Vitalizer.
Air Circulation: Ensure good air flow to prevent mold and mildew.
Pest Control: Check for pests like aphids and spider mites; treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
