drain water every 2 weeks via bottom drain plug
add 2-3 cups of water afterwards
optional: add water-soluble fertilizer
Observe LECA appearance. If you feel that the top part is slightly dry, you may add water slowly, 1/2 cup at a time, and wait for several minutes until the LECA turns a darker shade. A darker shade means LECA is properly hydrated.
