Dendrobiums are known for their profuse blooms that come in a variety of pastel tones. This pretty plant thrives by a bright window if you're keeping them indoors. Outdoors, they are best placed in a shaded area.

Dendrobium flowers can last up to 1 month. After a blooming cycle, the flowers will wilt and fall off, allowing the orchid to store energy to re-bloom again next season. Inadequate light is the number one reason orchids refuse to bloom or rebloom. If your space doesn't get adequate light, you may need a grow light to achieve flowers.
